The entire street is taken over with all aspects of life and living, and down at the east end of the street is where you will find the UpDown Circus Festival Street Programme.
Featuring workshops with Let's Play Cork and an array of local, national and international artists.

Lidija Šola is a Croatian, Cork based artist, and co-founder of Tricycle Trauma, an experimental circus collective. She’s been a part of the independent art scene for over a decade as a performer, author and director. In 2023, she premiered "(Un)Holy Blood," a surreal circus play, at St. Luke’s, Cork, and her most recent creation "Now and Then" had a Cork premiere at AutumnFest 2025.
Dani Fortune is a Strong woman street performer, burlesque badass, erotic aerialist, actress & fire performer with over a 20 years of performing experience. Hailing from the Sunny South East of Ireland she has tread the streets and stages around the world as a titillating tassel twirler, dancer and actress and sideshow performer.
Duo Rattrape is made up of Irish man Liam Carmody and Argentinian Lisandro Gallo, who are both touring internationally with acrobatic troupes. “Duo Rattrape: A Contresens” performance is supported by Alliance Française de Cork.
Colm O'Grady is a prolific artist, a creator of circus, theatre, street art… which takes us on a journey through surprising stories. The common thread in his work could be called contemporary clown: comic and burlesque situations, the diversion of objects into a narrative tool. Beginning his career in 1995 on the street in Galway, since then,he has toured internationally in more than 30 countries around the world with his solo, duo or troupe shows.
