Accessible Juggling

Pitch'd Productions

Folk Juggling uses techniques that ensures juggling is inclusive for everyone, regardless of physical or mental abilities.

A fun and accessible activity for people of all ages to experience juggling as a form of social connection through fun, play.

What are Accessible Juggling Workshops?

Accessible Juggling workshops use juggling balls, rings and scarves to introduce people to the benefits of Circus Arts in a fun, non-competitive environment that promotes physical literacy, and is adaptable for all abilities or physical limitations.

Also known as Functional Juggling, we take a pedagogical approach that makes juggling inclusive for everyone, regardless of physical or mental abilities. The pedagogy focuses on the core relationships of space, rhythm, and movement rather than complex tricks, using adapted tools like juggle boards for social connection, developing coordination, concentration, and creativity. It redefines juggling as a universal practice, allowing people of all abilities and ages to participate and connect through shared movement and sensory experiences, including using everyday objects.
